State Route 29 - Channelization Project - Napa County
Updates Friday July 31 until Friday August 7

NAPA COUNTY – Caltrans and local stakeholders are continuing construction of the State Route 29 (SR-29) Channelization Project in and near St. Helena in Napa County.

Daytime work - starting Friday July 31
Starting Friday July 31 until Friday August 7, crews are scheduled to continue daytime excavation work on the highway shoulder of northbound and southbound SR-29 between Whitehall Lane and Stice Lane. Additional work includes installation of waterlines and railroad signal work. Daytime operations will occur Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM. No lane closures are scheduled for daytime work.

However, the public may see intermittent delays at the county road intersections due to the railroad signal work. Utility companies will also continue with daytime work in the area related to the project.

Nighttime work - starting Friday July 31
No nighttime work is scheduled starting Friday July 31 through Friday August 7.
