Real McCoy II Ferry Closed For Overnight Maintenance
Tuesday, July 21 at 10:00 PM until Wednesday, July 22 at 4:00 AM

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry to perform routine preventive maintenance. The Real McCoy II is scheduled to be closed Tuesday, July 21 at 10:00 PM until the morning of Wednesday, July 22 at 4:00 AM. All work is weather permitting.

The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

Real McCoy II Ferry Detour
During Tuesday’s overnight service interruption of the Real McCoy Ferry, motorists are advised to use either the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220, or the Miner Slough Bridge on State Route 84 to travel overnight between Ryer Island and neighboring communities in Sacramento and Solano Counties.
