San Pedro Creek Bridge Traffic Shift from San Pedro Avenue to
U.S. State Route 1 in Pacifica August 6
San Mateo County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will shift north and southbound traffic from San Pedro Avenue back onto U.S. State Route 1 in Pacifica on August 6, between the hours of 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The following operations will take place prior to the traffic shift: temporary striping, installation of k-rail and crash cushions.
After the traffic switch, traffic will be driving over the newly constructed San Pedro Creek Bridge. Motorist should be aware of the traffic shift the morning of August 7th.
Please note changeable message boards will be updated to reflect this change.
This traffic shift is part of the San Pedro Creek Bridge Replacement Project which will be completed by October, 2015 (weather permitting)
