Interstate 80- Interstate 680- State Route12 Interchange-Fairfield
Overnight Connector and Ramp Closures- September 17
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and its project partner the Solano Transportation Authority (STA) are continuing work on the Interstate 80/Interstate 680/State Route12 Interchange Project (I-80/I-680/SR-12).
As part of the project, crews will install moveable concrete barriers which will require night connector and onramp closures in Fairfield starting Thursday, September 17.
Westbound I-80 Onramp from Green Valley Road-Overnight Closure
To ensure worker and public safety, the westbound I-80 onramp from Green Valley Road will be closed starting Thursday, September 17 at 11:00 PM until Friday, September 18 at 4:00 AM.
Eastbound I-80 Connector to Southbound I-680-Overnight Closure
The eastbound I-80 connector to southbound I-680 will also be closed starting Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 PM until Friday, September 18 at 5:00 AM.
Westbound I-80 Connector to Westbound State Route 12-Overnight Closure
The westbound I-80 connector to westbound State Route 12 will be closed starting Thursday, September 17 at 10:00 PM until Friday, September 18 at 4:00 AM.
Westbound I-80 Two Far-Right Traffic Lanes- Overnight Closure
The two far-right lanes of westbound I-80 between I-680 and Red Top Road will be closed Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 PM until Friday September 18 at 5:00 AM.
Detour signs will be posted. CHP will also help direct motorists. Drivers should expect delays. All work is weather permitting. Please #BeWorkZoneAlert.
