FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

State Route 12-Rio Vista Bridge
One-Way Traffic Controls-Deck Repair Work
Starting Friday, March 10, 2017

Solano and Sacramento Counties – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform deck repair work on the Rio Vista Bridge on State Route 12 (SR-12) between Solano and Sacramento Counties.

The daytime repair is scheduled on 3 non-consecutive days starting Friday, March 10.

Work is scheduled:
• Friday, March 10 at 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM
• Saturday, March 11 at 6:00 AM until 5:00 PM
• Monday, March 13 at 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM

To ensure public and worker safety, one-way traffic controls will be in effect during the work. Crews will alternate lane closures in both eastbound and westbound directions. This will allow one lane on the bridge to remain open during the work. Flaggers will help direct traffic.

Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.

For boat and ship traffic, the bridge will operate normally for any vessels passing underneath it along the Sacramento River.

Caltrans thanks you for your patience as we work to maintain California’s highways and bridges. Please #BeWorkZoneAlert.
