FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

State Route 113
Between Dixon and Rio Vista
Reopening Monday, March 6, 2017
Ahead of Schedule Following Flood Repairs

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to reopen State Route 113 (SR-113) between Hay Road and State Route 12 (SR-12) in rural Solano County by 7:00 PM on Monday, March 6, 2017.

The reopening of SR-113 is ahead of the original reopening date of Saturday, March 11.

SR-113 just south of the City of Dixon in unincorporated Solano County has been closed since the week of February 27 and was originally scheduled to be closed until Saturday, March 11 to complete storm-related repairs to the highway.

During the closure, Caltrans completed culvert repairs which crews started during January’s heavy rains.

The culvert repairs will improve drainage on and adjacent to SR-113 and make the highway less flood prone in the future.
