State Route 29-Channelization Project-Napa County
Updates Starting Saturday, October 25

NAPA COUNTY – Caltrans and its local stakeholders have started construction of the State Route 29 (SR-29) Channelization Project in and near St. Helena in Napa County.

Daytime Work
For the week starting Sunday, October 25 2015 until Saturday, October 31, 2015, Caltrans and its contractors will perform daytime drainage pipe installation and roadway excavation work on the northbound SR-29 shoulder from White Lane to Charter Oak.

Work is scheduled 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and will not require lane closures. Lane widths may be reduced in certain areas for safety.

NOTE: Roadway excavation work is anticipated to continue from Chaix Lane through Charter Oak during the week of November 1 through November 7.

Nighttime Work
Nighttime operations are scheduled Wednesday and Thursday (10/28 and 10/29). Crews will install water distribution lines on SR-29 just south of Whitehall Lane and at White Lane. Work starts at 7:00 PM until 6:00 AM. One-way traffic controls. 5-minute delays expected.
