Eastbound I-80 Connector to Southbound I-680
Closed Overnight-Starts October 15 at 7:00PM

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and its project partner the Solano Transportation Authority (STA) are continuing work on the Interstate 80/Interstate 680/State Route12 Interchange Project (I-80/I-680/SR-12) in Fairfield.

As part of the project, crews will install temporary false work on the southern-most section of the new Green Valley Road overcrossing above I-680.

Eastbound I-80 Connector to Southbound I-680-Overnight Closure
To ensure worker and public safety, the eastbound I-80 connector to southbound I-680 will be closed starting Thursday, October 15 at 7:00 PM until Friday, October 16 at 5:00 AM.

Detour Route
During the work, motorists traveling to southbound I-680 from eastbound I-80 will be detoured onto southbound Lopes Road, then left on Gold Hill Road, then right onto southbound I-680.

Detour signs will be posted. Drivers should expect delays. All work is weather permitting. Please #BeWorkZoneAlert.
