Overnight Connector Closure of Interstate 580 – Interstate 80 Connector
Emeryville (Alameda County)
January 17 through January 19

Emeryville, Calif. – Caltrans is conducting work requiring overnight full closure of the Interstate 580 (I-580) westbound (WB) connector to Interstate 80 (I-880) eastbound (EB) in Emeryville, Alameda County to facilitate work on a structure painting project. Details of the closures are as follows:

• The connector from I-580 WB to I-80 EB will be closed to traffic nightly from Monday January 17 through Wednesday January 19 from 11:00 PM until 5:00 AM the following day.
• Signage will guide motorists to detour routes around the closures.

Motorists should drive with caution through the work zone. Traffic fines are doubled in construction zones.
