Following Closure Due to High Water and Heavy Currents
Update-January 20, 2017

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) returned the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 (SR-220) to service on January 20, 2017.

The J-Mack Ferry had been closed since January 10, 2017 due to high water and heavy current caused by this month’s storms.

The J-Mack Ferry runs on a cable across Steamboat Slough between Ryer Island in Solano County and Sacramento County. It provides around the clock service on SR-220 in the Delta.
