FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

State Route 113
Between Dixon and Rio Vista
Full Highway Closure
Starting Monday, February 27, 2017

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled a long-term closure of State Route 113 (SR-113) between Hastings Road and Hay Road in rural Solano County to complete storm-related repairs to the highway.

The closure is just south of the City of Dixon in unincorporated Solano County.
SR-113 will be closed Monday, February 27 at 6:00AM until 6:00PM Sunday, March 11.

During the closure, motorists are advised to use State Route 12 (SR-12) and Interstate 80 (I-80) as alternate routes between Fairfield/Dixon/Vacaville and the Delta region. Limited access will be available for local residents and emergency responders only.

Caltrans will complete culvert repairs which crews started during January’s heavy rain storms. SR-113 was closed temporarily in early January and reopened on January 11, 2017.

The additional repairs scheduled to start February 27 will improve drainage adjacent to SR-113 and make the highway less flood prone in the future.
