Columbus Parkway Exit Closed
Four Consecutive Days
Starts Tuesday, September 26, 2017
Tree Removals for Utility Safety

SOLANO COUNTY— The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) working closely with PG&E is scheduled to close the Columbus Parkway exit from westbound Interstate-780 in Benicia during four consecutive days starting Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

Crews will remove multiple overgrown trees and bushes on and near the Columbus Parkway exit to ensure the continued access and operation of underground utility pipelines in the area.

During the work, the Columbus Parkway exit from westbound I-780 will be closed each day Tuesday, September 26, Wednesday, September 27, Thursday, September 28 and Friday, September 29 starting at 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM each day.

All work is weather permitting.

Detours during WB I-780 Columbus Parkway Offramp Closure
During the closure of the Columbus Parkway Offramp, motorists headed to Columbus Parkway will continue on westbound I-780, exit Glen Cove Road, turn right onto eastbound Glen Cove, then right onto southbound Benicia Road and enter Columbus Parkway from Benicia Road. Detour signs will be posted. Please allow for extra travel time.
