SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily close the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 (SR-220) Friday, September 29 to repair the ramp motorists use to access the ferry from the Ryer Island dock.

The J-Mack is scheduled to close starting Friday, September 29 at 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM that same day.

The J-Mack Ferry runs on a cable across Steamboat Slough between Ryer Island in Solano County and Sacramento County. And provides around the clock service on SR-220.
