State Route 84-Real McCoy Ferry
Emergency Closure
Due Repairs to Boat’s Propulsion System
Tuesday, September 26, 2017

SOLANO COUNTY— The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has closed the Real McCoy Ferry on State Route (SR-84) until further notice to perform emergency repairs to the boat’s propulsion system.

The Real McCoy was closed on Tuesday, September 26 at approximately 10:30 AM.

As of Tuesday, September 26 at 12:00 PM, mechanics were working on emergency repairs.

Caltrans will announce a return time for the Real McCoy Ferry as soon as that information becomes available.

During the closure of the Real McCoy Ferry, motorists traveling between Ryer Island and Solano and Sacramento Counties are advised to use either the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 (SR-220) or the Miner Slough Bridge on SR-84 as a detour.
