Sunday, July 9, 2017 starting at 5:00 AM

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily close the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 (SR-220) in the Delta early Sunday morning.

The J-Mack is scheduled to close starting Sunday, July 9 at 5:00 AM until 12:00 PM that same day. Caltrans will perform preventive maintenance.

The J-Mack Ferry runs on a cable across Steamboat Slough between Ryer Island in Solano County and Sacramento County. And provides around the clock service on SR-220.

During the closure, motorists are advised to use the Real McCoy Ferry, also known as the Cache Slough Ferry along State Route 84.
