New Green Valley Road Traffic Lanes
To Open Saturday, July 15, 2017
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and its project partner the Solano Transportation Authority (STA) are scheduled to open the new permanent traffic lanes on Green Valley Road between Business Center Drive and Lopes Road in Fairfield this weekend.
The work is part of Package 1 of the I-80/I-680/SR-12 Interchange Project.
Green Valley Road Overnight Closures
To ensure worker and public safety, motorists may encounter periodic overnight closures of Green Valley Road near Business Center Drive as crews switch traffic from the existing temporary traffic lanes on Green Valley Road to the final permanent traffic lanes.
Overnight periodic closures of Green Valley Road are scheduled Friday, July 14 starting at 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM Saturday, July 15. Watch for detour signs and flaggers.
Once the switch is completed the morning of Saturday, July 15, motorists traveling on northbound Green Valley Road at Business Center Drive will benefit from five new northbound traffic lanes which will include multiple left turn lanes onto Business Center Drive. Motorists traveling on southbound Green Valley Road will benefit from three southbound traffic lanes.
Motorists are advised to travel with caution as they adjust to the new traffic lanes.
