Real McCoy II Ferry –Temporarily Closed For Repair
Wednesday, February 10, 2016

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has temporarily suspended service of the Real McCoy II Ferry on State Route 84 to perform emergency mechanical repairs.

As of Wednesday, February 10 at 10:30 AM, service is suspended until further notice. Crews are working diligently to return the ferry to service. Caltrans will make an announcement a return time is determined.

The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

During the service interruption of the Real McCoy, motorists are advised to use the J-Mack Ferry on Highway 220 or the Miner Slough Bridge on Highway 84 to travel between Ryer Island and neighboring communities in Sacramento and Solano Counties.
