Real McCoy II Ferry -Closed For Emergency Repairs
Effective Tuesday, November 17, 2015
SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has temporarily suspended service of the Real McCoy II Ferry on State Route 84 to perform emergency mechanical repairs.
As of Tuesday, November 17 at 9:00 AM, service is suspended until further notice. Crews are working to return the ferry to service by approximately 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 18.
The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.
The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

During the service interruption of the Real McCoy, motorists are advised to use the Miner Slough Bridge on Highway 84 or the J-Mack Ferry.
