SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has suspended service of the Real McCoy and the J-Mack ferries until further notice.

The Real McCoy Ferry on State Route 84 (SR-84) and the J-Mack Ferry on State Route 220 (SR-220) will be closed until further notice due to emergency repairs to the Real McCoy’s engines and long-term repairs to the J-Mack’s underwater cable and required inspections by the U.S. Coast Guard.

During the closure of the Real McCoy and J-Mack ferries, motorists are advised to use the Miner Slough Bridge on SR-84 as a detour when traveling between Ryer Island and Sacramento and Solano Counties.

For the latest information, call the Caltrans Ferry Update Line at (510) 622-0120.
