State Route 29-Channelization Project-Napa County
Updates Starting July 5, 2016

NAPA COUNTY – Caltrans and its local stakeholders are continuing construction of the State Route 29 (SR-29) Channelization Project in and near St. Helena in Napa County.

Below is the week-ahead project update for the week of July 5 and July 11.

WEEK STARTING JULY 5, 2016-Daytime Work
• Roadway excavation and storm drain installation between Dowdell Lane and Charter Oak Avenue in the southbound shoulder
• Sidewalk and curb and gutter construction between Inglewood Avenue and Charter Oak Avenue in the southbound shoulder

Work is scheduled 6:00AM to 4:00PM, Mon-Fri. Work between Dowdell Lane and Charter Oak Avenue will occur behind concrete safety barriers. No lane closures scheduled. Slower traffic is anticipated due to the use of heavy equipment. No night work scheduled

WEEK STARTING JULY 10, 2016-Night Work
• Hot mix asphalt paving btwn Dowdell LN & Charter Oak AV in the southbound shoulder
• Temporary concrete barrier removal Dowdell LN & Charter Oak AV (Thur & Fri Nights)

Work is scheduled 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday evening through Saturday morning. Paving work will occur behind concrete safety barriers. Driveway access may be limited. One-way traffic with a delay of up to 5 minutes. Motorists should expect slow traffic. No day work scheduled.
