FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
State Route 12-Rio Vista Bridge
One-Way Traffic Controls-Emergency Deck Repair
Saturday, July 23, 2016
Solano and Sacramento Counties – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform emergency deck repair on the Rio Vista Bridge on State Route 12 (SR-12) between Solano and Sacramento Counties on Saturday, July 23.
The work is scheduled Saturday, July 23 at 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Crews will be making repairs to a bridge expansion joint. All work is weather permitting.
To ensure public and worker safety, one-way traffic controls will be in effect. Crews will alternate lane closures in both eastbound and westbound directions.
This will allow one lane on the bridge to remain open during the work. Flaggers will help direct traffic.
Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
For boat and ship traffic, the bridge will operate normally for any vessels passing underneath it along the Sacramento River.
Caltrans thanks you for your patience as we work to maintain California’s highways and bridges. Please #BeWorkZoneAlert.
