Emergency
Lane and Ramp Closures on State Route 4
Contra Costa County– The California Department of
Transportation (Caltrans) has closed the Laurel off-ramp on eastbound State
Highway 4 in Contra Costa County for emergency erosion control. The ramp closed at 9:30, and is expected to
re-open in about two hours.
In addition, Caltrans will close the #1 lane of
westbound State Highway 4 between Hillcrest and Lone Tree Way at 11:00 am this
morning for emergency crash cushion repair.
The closure is expected to last until approximately 2:00 pm.
