Westbound Interstate-80 Green Valley Road-Fairfield
Overnight Intermittent-Full Highway Closures
Friday, June 26, 2015

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and its project partner the Solano Transportation Authority (STA) are continuing work on the Interstate-80/Interstate-680/State Route-12 Interchange Project in Fairfield.

As part of the project, crews will begin positioning equipment on and adjacent to the new Green Valley Road/Interstate 80 (I-80) overcrossing on westbound I-80 starting Friday, June 26 at 9:00PM. The equipment movement is in preparation of a nighttime concrete-pour on the new overcrossing structure also scheduled on Friday.

Intermittent overnight closures Westbound I-80-Friday, June 26 at 9:00PM
To ensure worker and public safety, intermittent closures on westbound I-80 between the westbound I-80 Cordelia Truck Scales and the Green Valley Road exit are scheduled Friday, June 26 starting at 9:00PM until Saturday, June 27 at 6:00AM.

CHP will assist with directing traffic. Closures will occur in 5-10 minute intervals.

As part of the work, the far left lane on westbound I-80 between the westbound Truck Scales and Green Valley Road will also be closed on Friday, June 26 at 9:00PM until Saturday, June 27 at 6:00AM. Motorists should expect delays.
