Ramp/Lane Closures I-280 at Sneath Lane Overcrossing
in San Bruno (San Mateo County)
San Mateo County - San Bruno – Caltrans has scheduled the following closures in the City of San Bruno at the Sneath Lane/San Bruno Avenue off-ramp, and on I-280 at the Sneath Lane Overcrossing.
Sneath Lane Overcrossing: (East Approach)
One lane closed in each direction to grind and pave. One lane will remain open in each direction to traffic during paving operation.
Southbound I-280 at the SneathLane/San Bruno Avenue Off-Ramp
One lane closed for guardrail installation. 4 lanes will remain open to traffic.
Northbound I-280 at the Sneath Lane Overcrossing
One lane closed for guardrail installation. 4 lanes will remain open to traffic.
These closures will begin on Monday, June 1, and continue until Friday, June 5, between the hours of 7:00 PM to 6:00 Am.
Detour for I-280 Southbound Sneath Lane/San Bruno Off-Ramp:
Take the southbound 280 connector off-ramp to eastbound 380 connector off-ramp to Route 82 (El Camino Real), northbound Route 82 to Sneath Lane, southbound Route 82 to San Bruno Avenue.
The work is part of the seismic retrofit project at the Sneath Lane Overcrossing in San Bruno. Scheduled completion date for this project is spring 2015 (weather permitting).
Drive cautiously through the construction zone. Leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
