Highway
Closures and Lane Reductions
Paving
Work Week of April 6th
NAPA
COUNTY - The
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform paving work on
State Route 29 (SR-29) at various locations in Napa County during four
consecutive nights starting Sunday, April 6th until the morning of
Thursday, April 10th.
Detour-State
Route 29 at First Street in Napa, Sunday, April 6th
To ensure
worker and public safety, the southbound onramp onto State Route 29 from First
Street in Napa will be closed on Sunday, April 6th starting at 6
p.m. until 4 a.m. Monday, April 7th. Detour signs will be posted.
Motorists
heading onto southbound SR-29 from First Street will be detoured to the
northbound First Street onramp, then to the northbound Lincoln offramp, then to
the southbound Lincoln onramp, and back onto southbound SR-29.
Lane
Reductions-Various Locations-Monday, April 7th-Thursday, April 9th
Work will
also be performed at the following locations with lane reductions and start
each night at 6 p.m. until 4 a.m. the following mornings. All work is weather
permitting.
Monday, April
7th-Northbound SR-29 at California Street Onramp,
Yountville
Tuesday,
April 8th-Southbound SR-29 at Niebaum Lane, Rutherford
Wednesday,
April 9th-Northbound SR-29 at Green Island Road, American Canyon
Motorists
should watch for crews working and allow for extra travel time.
