Real
McCoy II Ferry Closed For Overnight Maintenance
Starting Wednesday, April 16th at
10 p.m.
SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry
to perform routine preventive maintenance. The Real McCoy II is scheduled to be
closed Wednesday, April 16th at
10 p.m. until the morning of Thursday, April 17th at 4 a.m. All work is weather
permitting.
The
Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on
State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.
The
delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the
hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.
Real McCoy II Ferry Detour
During
Wednesday’s service interruption, motorists are advised to use Highway 160 and
the J-Mack Ferry along Highway 220.
