Interstate 505 and I-80 Interchange-Vacaville

Overnight Connector Closures

Week of Monday, April 7th

                            
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform paving and survey work, and remove safety barriers at the Interstate 505/Interstate 80 interchange in Vacaville during five nights starting on Monday, April 7th and concluding on the morning of Saturday, April 12th.

Southbound I-505 connector to Westbound I-80-Closed Overnights
April 7th until morning of April 12th
To ensure worker and public safety, starting Monday April 7th, the connector from southbound I-505 to westbound I-80 will be closed each night Monday through Thursday starting at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following mornings.  On Friday, April 11th, the connector will be closed from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 12th. All work is weather permitting.

The following detour with detour signs will be in effect:
Motorists are advised to continue on southbound I-505, exit at exit 1B, merge to I-80 eastbound, keep right at for toward Monte Vista Avenue, turn left onto Monte Vista, turn left onto westbound I-80 ramp toward San Francisco.

Eastbound I-80 connector to Northbound I-505-Closed Overnight-April 8th
The connector from eastbound I-80 to northbound I-505 will closed on Tuesday, April 8th  
starting at 12:01 a.m. until 6 a.m. that same morning.

Motorists are advised to continue on eastbound I-80, exit Leisure Town Road, turn left over the I-80 overcrossing, take the loop ramp to westbound I-80, then continue to the connector to northbound I-505. Motorists should allow for extra travel time.
