One Way Traffic Control on State Route 35 in San Mateo County
San Mateo County- The
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will implement one-way
traffic control on a segment of State Route 35 at post mile 23.037 to post mile
22.853 in San Mateo County between the hours of 9:30am to 3:30pm in both the northbound
and southbound directions, starting Monday, June 9, 2014 through Friday, June
20, 2014. The one-way traffic control will enable maintenance crews to perform
brush cutting and tree trimming for motorist sight distance, fire hazards and
the safety of bicyclist and pedestrians.
Maintenance crews will begin the first week with the
northbound direction June 9 to June 13. The second week will continue with the
southbound direction from June 16 to June 20.
Detour for eastbound
motorist:
Route 92 eastbound vehicles traveling to northbound 280,
continue eastbound on Route 92, travel under highway 280 to circle ramp to
northbound 280.
One lane will remain open to motorists during this maintenance
service
Motorists are advised to expect delays and to use alternate
routes. Please be alert for workers and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
