Start
Friday, June 27th at 10 p.m.
SACRAMENTO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform bridge deck
repairs on the Highway 160-Isleton Bridge in Sacramento County starting Friday
night, June 27th until the morning of Monday, June 30th. During the
work, a full closure of the Isleton Bridge will be in effect.
The
work is scheduled to start Friday, June 27th at 10 p.m. and be
completed on Monday, June 30th at 5 a.m. Crews will repair the
bridge deck, which has become worn over time.
To
ensure public and worker safety, the Isleton Bridge will be closed to motorists
during the work. The following detour with detour signs will be in effect.
Northbound Highway 160 Detour: Motorists
headed northbound onto the Isleton Bridge should continue onto River Road
towards Walnut Grove, then cross the Walnut Grove Bridge to northbound Highway
160.
Southbound Highway 160 Detour: Motorists headed southbound on the
Isleton Bridge should instead cross the Walnut Grove Bridge, then southbound on
River Road until it becomes Highway 160.
Please
slow for flaggers and construction crews. Motorists should expect delays and
allow for extra travel time.
Boats and other water vessels on the Sacramento River will be able
to pass normally underneath the Isleton Bridge during the work.
Caltrans appreciates your patience as we work
to maintain California’s bridges.
