Overnight Closures of State Highway 84 in Alameda County

Alameda County– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close a portion of State Highway 84 in Alameda County, between Concannon Boulevard and Jack London Boulevard, between the hours of 10:00 pm and 5:00 am, from Monday night, June 9, through Friday night, June 13.

The closures will permit construction crews to finish installing new signs and electrical equipment . Traffic will be detoured onto Stanley and Jack London Boulevards.  Detour signs will be prominently posted. 

Drivers are advised that traffic fines are doubled in maintenance and construction areas. Please remember to “Slow For The Cone Zone.”
