EXTENDED CLOSURES OF
MISSION BLVD WESTBOUND LANES
(SR-262) TO BEGIN THIS WEEKEND

ALAMEDA
– Caltrans,
in partnership with the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority will temporarily
close the westbound (w/b) lanes in the City of Fremont along Mission Boulevard in
order to begin construction of a new railroad underpass structure.
Extended w/b
lane closures for Mission Blvd. this
weekend only are as follows:
·
Friday, July
19th, from 9 p.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20th
·
Saturday July
20th, at 9 p.m., until 11 a.m. Sunday, July 21
Regularly-scheduled lane
closures for Mission Blvd.
resume (as necessary) on Sunday, July 21 and
Tuesday, July 23, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Detour
routes for all closures are:

From
I-680: Westbound
Mission Blvd. will be closed between Warm Springs Blvd. and I-880 - use Auto Mall Parkway. Warren Avenue is
closed between Kato Road and Mission Falls Court and should not be used as an
alternate for Mission Blvd.
·
To
I-880: Alternative
options for westbound motorists in south Fremont include Fremont Blvd. and
Dixon Landing, in Milpitas.
