Old Redwood Highway Interchange Ground-breaking


WHO:             Caltrans, Sonoma County Transportation Authority, City of Petaluma

WHAT:           Groundbreaking Ceremony for U.S. Route 101 Old Redwood Highway
                       Interchange Improvement Project
                                   
WHEN:          Thursday, April 25, 2013
                        4:00 pm

WHERE:        Redwood Way, Petaluma

GENERAL:   This project will replace the current Old Redwood Highway overcrossing 
                      with a new structure that will feature four lanes, a bicycle path in each
                      direction, and a pedestrian crosswalk in each direction. In addition, the on
                      and off ramps will be widened from one lane to two, and ramp metering
                      technology will be installed. 

Directions:   From the South:
                      Take U.S. Route 101 North
                      Exit at Old Redwood Highway/Penngrove
                      Turn right onto Old Redwood Highway
                      Turn Right onto North McDowell
                      Turn Right onto Redwood Way

                      From the North:
                      Take U.S. Route 101 South
                      Take the Petaluma Boulevard North Exit
                      Turn Left onto Old Redwood Highway
                      Turn Right onto North McDowell Boulevard
                      Turn Right onto Redwood Way
