Real
McCoy II Ferry Closed For Maintenance
Closure Scheduled Overnight Friday
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend
service of the Real McCoy II Ferry late Friday night until early Saturday
morning to perform regular preventive maintenance. The Real McCoy II is
scheduled to be closed Friday, September 21st at 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. on Saturday,
September 22nd.
The
Real McCoy II, also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service
on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano
County.
The
delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the
hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.
Real McCoy II Ferry Detour
During
Friday’s overnight service interruption, motorists are advised to use Highway
160 and the J-Mack Ferry along Highway 220.
