Cloverdale Drive to be Closed for Saturday Event

Sonoma County– The City of Cloverdale will close Cloverdale Boulevard between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. this Saturday, September 8^th for a car show.  U.S. 101 exit, Citrus Fair Drive, will have traffic diverted away from Cloverdale Boulevard to other local streets.  In addition to U.S. 101 Citrus Fair Drive exit, the City of Cloverdale can be accessed by using U.S. 101 northbound Cloverdale and Highway 128 exits.

Please remember to Slow for the Cone Zone.

Sonoma County Lane Closures for the week of September 10, 2012

U.S. Route 101

                                                                                                                  

Two lane closure for traffic striping Westbound East Washington street between McDowell Boulevard and Southbound off ramp intersection beginning at 9:00 a.m. ending at 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Two lane closure for paving and traffic striping Southbound between Old Redwood Highway and Highway 116 off ramp beginning at 10:00 pm ending at 1:00 am Monday through Friday.

One lane closure for paving and traffic striping Southbound between Old Redwood Highway and Highway 116 off ramp beginning at 1:00 am ending at 4:00 am Monday through Friday.

One lane closure for paving and traffic striping Northbound between Petaluma River Bridge and Lynch Creek Road beginning at 11:00 pm ending at 6:00 am Wednesday through Friday.

East Washington on ramp to Southbound 101 complete closure from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Friday.

Southbound 101, between the Highway 128 on ramp and the Citrus Fair off ramp, #2 lane closed 24/7 until October.

Overnight Lane Closures for Corte Madera Creek Bridge

Corte Madera– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close various lanes on the Corte Madera Creek Bridge on northbound U.S. Route 101 in Marin County tonight and Saturday night, September 8, between the hours of 7 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Additional closures may be required on Sunday night, September 9, between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

The lane closures will enable crews to apply a polyester concrete overlay to the bridge deck. Polyester concrete is a durable substance that helps extend the service life of bridges and overpasses.

Drivers are advised to expect some delays, and to allow for extra travel time.  Please remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”

Early Morning Utility Work May Cause Delays

Petaluma– This Sunday morning, September 9, 2012, between 6:15 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., the California Highway Patrol will stop traffic for 15 minutes at a time, northbound and southbound, on Route 101 in Petaluma, one thousand feet north of the East Washington overcrossing. The first traffic block will last from 6:15 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. The second will last from 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.

The rolling traffic blocks will enable PG&E to safely pull new overhead transmission wires across the freeway north of the East Washington overcrossing.

An Advanced Warning Changeable Message Sign is in place to alert drivers of this utility work.

Traffic delays are anticipated, and motorists are advised to plan for additional travel time. Motorists are also reminded that traffic violations in Maintenance and Construction zones are subject to double fines. Please “Slow for the Cone Zone”.

      Overnight Lane Closures Scheduled For Week of September 9th  

NAPA AND SOLANO COUNTIES – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the Solano Transportation Authority (STA), and the Napa County Transportation and Planning Agency (NCTPA) are starting temporary road striping, and continuing with earthwork and safety barrier placement as crews work to widen Highway 12 through Jameson Canyon in Napa and Solano Counties.

One-Way Traffic Controls Starting Tuesday

To ensure worker and public safety, one-way traffic controls will be in effect on Highway 12 between Highway 29 and Red Top Road beginning Monday night, September 10th at 10 p.m. and be completed on Saturday, September 15th at 5 a.m.

Alternating lane closures will start Monday through Friday at 10 p.m. and conclude the following mornings at 5 a.m. During one-way traffic controls, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times with flaggers alternating eastbound and westbound traffic.

All work is weather permitting.                        

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will help direct motorists. Caltrans will also install

changeable message signs. Motorists should allow for extra travel time.

State Route 29 Paving Project to Begin

State Route 29 Paving Project to Begin

Napa–California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has a paving project set to begin next week in Yountville at the State Route 29 California Undercrossing between Madison and State Route 29. The planned work will resurface the roadway and replace a joint seal.

The hours of operation will be from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday through Friday. The grinding and paving will be on bridge approach. There will be one-way traffic in effect during project hours.

An Advanced Warning Changeable Message Sign is in place to warn drivers of this utility work.

It is anticipated the operation will be noisy.

Traffic delays are anticipated, and motorists are strongly advised to allow additional time for their travel. Motorists are also advised that traffic violations in Maintenance and Construction zones, are subject to double fines and to “slow for the cone zone”.

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has started a deck repair project on the Highway 128 Putah Creek Bridge. The bridge is located in Solano County near the city of Winters. 

To ensure worker and public safety, alternating lane closures will continue to be in effect on the Highway 128 Putah Creek Bridge until approximately the end of October.  

Alternating lane closures are in effect Mondays through Fridays starting at 7 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. each day. During these times, one lane of traffic will remain open at all times with flaggers alternating eastbound and westbound traffic.
