FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

U.S. Route 101
Lane Closures in Burlingame (San Mateo County)

San Mateo County – Caltrans has scheduled lane closures on U.S. Route 101 in Burlingame for both the northbound and southbound directions on the mainline starting Wednesday, January 21, 2015, through Friday, January 23, between the hours of 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. One lane will close in each direction leaving 3 lanes open to traffic. These closures will take place at night due to traffic volumes and concern for worker safety.

These closures will allow work crews to remove the concrete median barrier in the middle of Route 101.

This work is part of the 101 Broadway Interchange Reconstruction Project. Scheduled completion date is Mid-2017. (Weather Permitting)
