Lane Closures Planned for
Interstate 680 Mococo Overhead Bridge Rehabilitation Project

Contra Costa County – This week Caltrans will work in the median on northbound and southbound Interstate 680 near the Marina Vista Avenue/Waterfront Road interchange. Due to traffic and concerns for worker safety, this work can only be completed at night.

Beginning Monday night, January 5 and continuing through Wednesday night, January 7, Caltrans will close one northbound lane from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m, and one southbound lane from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

If work is delayed due to weather conditions, it will be rescheduled for a later time. Please drive cautiously through the construction zone, follow the direction of flaggers, leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you, and Slow for the Cone Zone. The California Highway Patrol will be on site during these closures.
