State Route 84-Real McCoy II Ferry-Overnight Closures
Electrical Work-Starts Tuesday January 20

SOLANO COUNTY– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry on State Route 84 (SR-84) for three consecutive nights to perform necessary electrical work. Crews will be installing new LED energy efficient lighting systems on the vessel.
The Real McCoy will be closed for the following three consecutive nights:

Tuesday, January 20 at 10:00 PM until 4:00 AM Wednesday, January 21
Wednesday, January 21 at 10:00 PM until 4:00 AM Thursday, January 22
Thursday, January 22 at 10:00 PM until 4:00 AM Friday, January 23

The Real McCoy II also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.

The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

During the service interruption, motorists are advised to use Highway 160 and the J-Mack Ferry along Highway 220.
