Pile Driving in Burlingame (San Mateo County)
U.S. Highway 101
San Mateo County – Caltrans has scheduled pile driving on U.S. Route 101 in the city of Burlingame for the northbound and southbound Route 101 Broadway off ramps, and the center median, between the northbound and southbound lanes at Broadway, starting Tuesday, February 17, 2015, through mid-April, 2015, between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Pile driving will take place during these daytime hours in consideration of the nearby Residents and Businesses.
Pile driving is necessary to prepare the foundation and support of the new Broadway Overcrossing. (Some of this work could include weekends).
This work is part of the 101 Broadway Interchange Reconstruction Project. Scheduled completion date is Mid-2017. (Weather Permitting)
NOTE: No lane closures or detours are necessary for this work.

Lane Closures on U.S. 101 in Burlingame-Start Jan 21

U.S. Route 101
Lane Closures in Burlingame (San Mateo County)
San Mateo County – Caltrans has scheduled lane closures on U.S. Route 101 in Burlingame for both the northbound and southbound directions on the mainline starting Wednesday, January 21, 2015, through Friday, January 23, between the hours of 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. One lane will close in each direction leaving 3 lanes open to traffic. These closures will take place at night due to traffic volumes and concern for worker safety.
These closures will allow work crews to remove the concrete median barrier in the middle of Route 101.
This work is part of the 101 Broadway Interchange Reconstruction Project. Scheduled completion date is Mid-2017. (Weather Permitting)
