Work Rescheduled
U.S. 101/State Route 116 Construction
Full Closures of SR 116 at U.S. 101
Planned for Falsework Installation
Petaluma, Sonoma County
– Work has been
rescheduled for the closure of State Route 116 at U.S. 101 for falsework
installation. Falsework is a temporary structure that supports the components
of a bridge during construction. There will be full closures of State Route 116
at U.S. 101 Wednesday night, July 23,
through Friday night, July 25.
Closure Schedule
Wednesday night and Thursday night, July 23 - 24
- Eastbound SR 116 will be closed from 10
p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Westbound SR 116 will be closed from 11
p.m. to 5 a.m.
Friday night, July 25
- Eastbound SR 116 will be closed from 10
p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Westbound SR 116 will be closed from 11
p.m. to 6 a.m.
Detour: Traffic may detour to Caulfield
Lane and S. McDowell Boulevard.
If
this work is delayed due to weather conditions, it will be rescheduled for a
later time. Please drive cautiously through the construction zone and leave a
safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you. Please remember to Slow for the Cone Zone.
The California Highway Patrol will be on site during these closures.
