I-780 and Highway 37-Vallejo
Daytime
Connector Ramp Closures-July 23 and July 24
Due
to Maintenance and Landscaping Work
SOLANO COUNTY –The
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing
maintenance work on Interstate-80, I-780 and Highway 37 in Vallejo the week of
July 23.
For public and
worker safety, the following daytime connector ramp closures with detours will
be in effect:
July 23, Interstate-780 connector from
westbound I-80 detour:
The eastbound and
westbound I-780 connector from westbound I-80 will be closed on July 23 from 9
a.m. until 2 p.m. for tree trimming work.
Motorists headed
onto eastbound and westbound I-780 from westbound I-80 will continue on
westbound I-80 and be detoured to Maritime Academy Drive, then to northbound
Sonoma Blvd/Highway 29, then southbound on Lemon Street, and enter I-780 from
Lemon Street.
July 24, Highway-37 Wilson Avenue onramp to
eastbound Highway 37 detour:
The onramp to
eastbound Highway 37 from Wilson Avenue will be closed on July 24 from
approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. for landscaping work and litter removal.
Motorists headed onto eastbound Highway 37 from Wilson Avenue will be detoured
under Highway 37, then onto westbound Highway 37, then exit Walnut Street, then
proceed across the Highway 37 overcrossing, then enter eastbound Highway 37.
Detour
signs will be posted. Please watch for crews working and allow for extra travel
time. All work is weather permitting.
