Interstate 880 Emergency Lane Closure on 23^rd Street Onramp In Oakland

ALAMEDA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane for the Northbound 880 Onramp at 23^rd Avenue in Oakland. The emergency lane closure is scheduled Friday July 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for tree removal as part of the 23^rd/29^th Street Project.

During construction residents are expected to have increased levels of noise. Motorists should expect delays during closure hours and are advised to use alternative routes if possible.
