U.S. 101/State Route 116 Construction
Demolition Continues for Northbound U.S.
101 Bridge
Full Closures of SR 116 Planned Through
Thursday Night
Petaluma, Sonoma County
– Demolition of the
northbound U.S. 101 bridge over State Route 116/Lakeville Highway has been
extended through Thursday night. Night closures of State Route 116
will continue on Wednesday night,
February 12 and Thursday night, February
13. Due to traffic on SR 116, the roadway will be closed and the demolition
will take place at night. Residents may notice increased noise during this
construction activity.
Closure Schedule
Wednesday night and
Thursday night, February 12 - 13
- Eastbound SR 116 will be closed from 10
p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Westbound SR 116 will be closed from 10
p.m. to 5 a.m.
Detour: Traffic may detour to Caulfield
Lane and S. McDowell Boulevard.
If
this work is delayed due to weather conditions, it will be rescheduled for a
later time. Please drive cautiously through the construction zone and leave a
safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you. Please remember to Slow for the Cone Zone.
The California Highway Patrol will be on site during these closures.
