SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will continue to suspend service of the Real McCoy II Ferry to perform emergency mechanical repairs to the boat’s propulsion system.
The extent of repairs has made it necessary to extend the service interruption.
Crews are working diligently to return the Real McCoy to service as soon as possible. Caltrans will notify the public once additional details are available.   
Real McCoy Background
The Real McCoy II, also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano County.
The delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

During the service interruption, motorists are advised to use Highway 160 and the           J-Mack Ferry along Highway 220.
