The work is scheduled to start Tuesday, May 14th and be completed by Thursday, May 16th. Weather permitting, work will start each day Tuesday, May 14th, Wednesday, May 15th, and Thursday, May 16th at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 3 p.m.
The work will replace dozens of channelizers that have become worn and damaged over time.

Crews will close the highway in both directions for 10 minutes at a time then reopen the highway to release traffic. CHP will help direct motorists in both eastbound and westbound directions. Motorists should expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
