San Mateo County – Caltrans will begin a Slope Repair Project on State Route 35, at post mile 13.1, near Sky Londa, at the north junction Bear Gulch Road (Skyline Boulevard) in San Mateo County, Monday, May 12, 2014, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The scope of the project will include the construction of a soldier pile wall, as well as the installation of a metal beam guardrail.

On May 12, the contractor will begin installing concrete safety barriers to protect motorists and construction crews during construction.  Preparation for one-way traffic control signals will also begin on the same day. One-way traffic control signals will be activated on May 19 or May 20, and will operate 24 hours a day, for the duration of construction. One lane will remain open to motorists.

Since there are bike riders in the area, please be careful while riding within the vicinity of the construction area.
