Emergency lane Closure on Eastbound Route 92 to Remove a  Modular Home

                         

San Mateo County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has closed the Eastbound #1 lane on Route 92 at post mile 6.47, just west of lower lakes until 4:00pm today to safely remove a modular home.

The vehicle that was carrying the modular home overturned on Route 92 causing the modular home to become separated from the trailer.

The lane closures are necessary to allow maintenance crews to facilitate roadway

repair, allowing personnel to complete their work with minimal impacts to motorist.

One way traffic control will be in effect with a pilot vehicle.

Motorists are strongly urged to drive cautiously through this construction zone and to

always leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of

you.
