Real McCoy II Ferry Scheduled For Preventive
Maintenance
Two-Week Closure Starts
Monday, February 25th
SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will temporarily suspend service
of the Real McCoy II Ferry for approximately two-weeks starting on Monday,
February 25th until Sunday, March 10th to perform preventive
maintenance, and make repairs to the ferry slip.
The
Real McCoy II is scheduled to be closed Monday, February 25th at 12:01
a.m. until 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, March 10th. All work is weather permitting.
The
Real McCoy II, also known as the Cache Slough Ferry, provides regular service
on State Route 84 between Ryer Island and the city of Rio Vista in Solano
County.
The
delta region ferry normally runs scheduled crossings every 20 minutes, on the
hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.
Real McCoy II Ferry Detour
During
the service interruption, motorists are advised to use Highway 160 and the J-Mack Ferry along Highway 220.
