Highway 128-Putah Creek Bridge Slab Replacement

Possible Travel Delays

SOLANO COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has started a bridge slab replacement project on the Highway 128 Putah Creek Bridge. The bridge is located in Solano County near the city of Winters.

To ensure worker and public safety, one-way traffic controls will continue to be in effect on the Highway 128 Putah Creek Bridge until Friday, December 14th.

During one-way traffic controls, traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the project. Eastbound and westbound motorists will need to wait at the temporary traffic signal lights just prior to the bridge until they are given the green light to proceed safely across the bridge. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists should allow for extra travel time. Caltrans will also install changeable message signs
