EASTBOUND LANE CLOSURE ON STATE ROUTE 24
IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 P.M. TODAY FOR ROADWAY MAINTENANCE

OAKLAND – Caltrans has closed the eastbound number 1 lane on SR-24, at Broadway to Kay Street overcrossing until 3 p.m. today, Monday, January 6, 2014, to safely clear several drains along roadway.

No detour route has been scheduled at this time. Motorists should slow down and proceed with extreme caution as maintenance crews conduct this operation.

Please drive cautiously and leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you.  Caltrans appreciates your patience as we work to improve the highways.  Please remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
