            Westbound Interstate-80 near I-680 Interchange in Cordelia

           Two Lanes and Connector Blocked Due to Overturned Big Rig  

SOLANO COUNTY – Crews continue to work to clear westbound Interstate 80 near Suisun Valley Road and the I-680 interchange in Cordelia after a big rig overturned.

As of 10:45 a.m., westbound lane #4 and lane #5 remain closed. The northbound I-680 connector to westbound I-80 is also closed in the area. Crews estimate reopening at approximately 3 p.m.

The truck was reportedly carrying tomatoes. Caltrans has activated its overhead message signs alerting motorists in the area.

Drivers are advised to expect delays and if possible take alternate routes.
